Mission Statement

The Charles W. & Patricia S. Bidwill Foundation focuses on supporting young people and their educational needs, particularly improving access to education for less advantaged children.  In addition, the Foundation supports organizations who help meet the educational, physical, and emotional needs of disabled children.

HISTORY

The Charles W. & Patricia S. Bidwill Foundation was incorporated in 2002 by Charles (Stormy)
and Patricia (Tiscia) Bidwill to support the educational needs of less advantaged children.  Throughout their active working lives, the Bidwills were supporters of many organizations that supported education.  Some of the organizations included Big Shoulders, Cristo Rey, St. Ignatius,
St. Procopius, and others. The establishment of the Foundation in their later years allowed them to commit more time and resources and deepen their commitment to the educational non-for-profit community.

The Bidwills valued the importance of education because they believed everyone should be provided an opportunity to participate fully in society.  Insuring that a quality education is available to all can make that possible.  The Charles W. & Patricia S. Foundation is incorporated in the State of Illinois and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) organization.
