“My hope for the Foundation over time is that it can reduce segregation and increase kinship, understanding, and acceptance. We want to bridge the gap so that every young adult has a place to help give them purpose in life, where each person is valued no matter what and they not only realize, but maximize their potential.”
Amelia Valenzuela is a real estate attorney based in Southern California. She received her B.A. from Wheaton College Massachusetts and her J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She is the first Director from the third generation of the Bidwill family to sit on the Board and has been serving in this role since 2017. Prior to joining the Foundation’s Board, Amelia also served on the Board of Directors of Rosie’s House, a nonprofit in Phoenix dedicated to the musical education of children from underserved communities.
