We envision a world where every individual thrives, and as a result, communities are strengthened. At the same time, we know our grantees are capable, caring, and bold. We trust them to propose the solutions that they think will best serve them and their communities.
We recognize that new ideas can be risky—and we are comfortable with that. Innovation comes from untried ideas. We aren’t afraid to be the first funder of a well-planned idea. Because we are flexible in our strategy, we seek partners that share our core values and approach our partnership with those values.

Risk & Innovation - We aren’t afraid to be the first supporter of an organization, program, or project and seek to support organizations who create an outsized impact. We value those who think big and the innovative ideas they bring forward.
Empowerment, Opportunity & Inclusion - We believe everyone has the agency and power to reach their full potential and solve individual and community problems, but access to opportunities is not equal. By improving that access for historically marginalized groups, and creating environments where everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued, individuals can harness their power to improve the outcomes for themselves and their communities.
Generosity & Joy - We believe in the Jesuit spirit that views generosity as a pathway to experiencing joy. Joy is not a fleeting emotion, but a deep, abiding state of being that arises from a life lived in generosity and service.
